We’ve all heard the whispers and seen the blurry pictures of Queen Bee sightings all over, sparking speculations of the return of the B. Well wonder no longer. In this down south celebratory project beyonce creates a vivid visual of the post-katrina build-back with the new creole culture at the fore.  the homo-genius injections of ‘Oh yas I like that’ and words like ‘slay’ assures us that the plan here is to get back on the charts and remind the world that “I did not come to play with you hoes, I came to slay bitch” - words echoed by a featured male voice on the track. Directly from Beyonce herself comes these words; “y’all haters corny with that illuminati mess” - a stank faced ‘B’ addressing the frequent and oft time absurd accusations of her long time supposed induction into the illuminati society. Something also new for beyonce is the premier cameo from the only heir to the billion dollar carter legacy.  Blue Ivy can be seen rolling neck and serving shoulders to her famous texas-bama mama’s tough and explicit new music video (watch below).

With a rappers approach beyonce belts lyrics from her larger than life perspective on top, driven home with the hook; ‘cause I slay” found at the end of very bossy proclamations.

‘Formation’ comes no more than a day before Beyonce will take to the super bowl stage with Coldplay for their Halftime performance of ‘Hymn for the Weekend’. *In best DJ Khalid voice* Beyonce you smart. I -like most people I guess- was wondering why this half song with no credit with Coldplay all of a sudden!?… well I have a few reasons; Adele? Rihanna?... beyonce jumps back into the game with an uncredited feature vocal performance, a Super bowl appearance and a catchy new viral record and video. I’m going to go out on the limb here and declare that Beyonce will most certainly be performing ‘Formation’ live this Sunday during the Super Bowl Halftime show at Santa Clara California’s Levi Stadium.
